We aim to have the best range of bikes available so you can get the most out of your riding. Below are pictures of the bikes you can hire from Graviti. All of our bikes are Specialized which feature the latest suspension and braking technology. We pride ourselves in keeping all of our bikes in tip top conditon all so they're ready to rip the mountains! 

All of our bikes come with disc brakes, providing great stopping power. We include a Specialized helmet with each bike along with a pump repair kit, and lock if you wish. We can provide flat pedals or SPD clip ins and for the little'un's we've even a kiddie trailer!

 Hardrock

We have a range of Hardrock's available. A unisex 'hardtail' mountain bike, with Sun forks (100mm travel), Avid BB5 disc brakes. These bikes are excellent for touring the surroundings, mild trails / XC or light downhill. Sizes available are 13.5, 15, 17 & 19 inch frames. We are also able to change tyres depending on riding requirements.

We also have a small number of Women's specfic Hardrocks & Myka's available. Our Myka's are designed for easy access, come with Shimano gears & disc brakes and are perfectly suitable for light XC and touring. Sizes available are 13.5 & 15 inch frames

 

XC - Full suspension

 

Our XC's are almost standard from the manufacturer, although we've upgraded the wheels to Sun 'Singletrack's, adding extra stability & strength. Either Hayes 9 or Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes are in place for extra stopping power, most of which have had disc rotors upgraded.

 

All of of large XC's now run 203mm discs on the front wheel, 185mm rear. Our black XC's have four inch's of rear travel for a little bit more ruggedness on the way down. An excellent choice for the rider who wants a light bike to take them up the mountain and full suspension to bring them back down.

Our red XC's are our lightest full suspension bike available. We've lightened the wheelset and upgraded the brakes all round to Hayes 9's. Our large sized XC's have also had the disc rotor sizes increased to improve stopping power.  

Women's XC

 

We also have women's specfic XC bikes available, with women's body geometry in mind. Reach, ride height & saddles are specifically designed to make female riders feel 100% in control. All our Womens' XC's have Hayes So1e disc brakes & are set up for a slightly softer ride.

Please note - Our bikes have Hayes hydraulic disc brakes, far superior than pictured above. 

Enduro Comp SL

The Enduro is the bike that does it all. Light enough to power up the hill, yet sturdy enough to blast down anything you wish. With Specialized's own height adjustable fork, this means you can change your ride position dependant on whether you're going up, or coming back down.

We have five Enduro Comp SL's for hire - 2 Large, 2 Medium and 2 Small. Our large Enduro's have have wheelsets upgraded to NGMX8 'superwide' rims & rear discs have been upgraded to 203mm for ultimate stopping power. Tyre have also been upgraded to Schwalbe 2.6inch 'Al mighty' for extra grip. Our Enduro's are now set up to handle even the harshest  of terrrain.

 

Big Hit / Custom Built Bikes

Specialized Big Hit's do exactly what they say they can - These bikes are designed for pushing the boundary's of downhill riding! We have four custom build Big Hit's available!!!

Our black Big Hit has 180mm Marzocchi 'Drop off' forks, 200mm Fox Van RC/Mojo rear shock, SRAM X9 rear shifter & mech, Avid juicy 7 brakes with 203mm discs for incredible braking performance! Custom built tripple wide 24 inch wheels with Halo hub. The rear is a Grimeca Hub on a tripple wide. 24 x 2.5 Maxxis 'Swamp Thing' up front, 24 x 2.5 Kenda Nevegal Stick-e on the rear 

We also have a Large Silver Big hit, which joins us at the downhill level. Upgraded brakes & wheels have already been new kitted. Avid Juicy Brakes with 203mm disc rotors plus Sun 'Singletrack rims'. Sram X9 rear mech & shifter controls switch gear. 26 x 2.5 Maxxis 'High Roller' front, 24 x 2.5 Specialized Chunder rear tyre. This is a a super slack beast - Perfect for big mountain riders.

GRAVITI'S LATEST ADDITIONS!!!!

Like the Black model, the brown Big Hit also rides on 24's - Atomic Laboratories 'Trail Pimp' double wide 24's to be exact. Hope M4 brakes with 203mm rotors for pin point precision and strength. Marzocchi BOMBER 66 VF's with 180mm & a Fox DHX 4.0 with 190mm travel Maxxis High Roller 2.7 tyres on the front, Specialized Roller RS 2.4 on the rear. Oversize handlebar with Kore stem, lock on grips as always. This bike is one that will push boundaries further and further.

We also have three further Big Hit's for freeride. All three bikes have double stantion free-ride forks, are in pefect riding condition & are ready & waiting for test pilots!

Hotrock

We have numerous childrens bikes available for hire. Our hotrocks are completely factory standard and, as with every bike at Graviti, each bike is checked after each ride.

   

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM GRAVITI

When hiring a bike from Graviti it's not just the bike itself you get. We make sure you stay safe on the mountain by providing Specialized Helmets, pumps, tyre levers, locks and even first aid kits if you wish... Most hire shops ask for additional money for these items, where as we dont, which is why we are unbeatable on value for money. If you prefer to ride with SPD pedals, feel free to bring your own with you, although we do have a (limited) range of Shimano SPD pedals available to put onto your bike.

If it wasn't for these guys, you wouldn't be out there riding. We pride ourselves that we used the best known and reliable parts supplier.

 

Due to the popularity of our bikes, we cannot guarantee availability of any of our bikes on any specific day, unless you pre-book a bike. During main season the majority of our bikes are quickly rented out and we dont want you to be disappointed. Therefore, if you want to make sure you get the exact bike you are after, on specific dates, please contact us. We cannot reserve any bikes without prior payment, unless agreed in advance.

Reservations must be made at least 48 hours before rental period. At this point we would be able to confirm the specified bike is ready to ride.
